BASA Roles

  • Program Manager: The Program Manager provides strategic IT leadership to the leaders and stakeholders in an engagement. The Program Manager also creates an IT roadmap based on the business initiatives, provides oversight of the portfolio of projects, and provides enterprise analysis
  • Business Analyst: During the engagement, the Business Analyst listens to understand the business process and the pain points, and then facilitates a collaborative effort to improve those processes. The Business Analyst is also responsible for the evaluation of solution options and provides recommendations. Then the Business Analyst aligns the business needs to the application features in the solution selected.  
  • Application Support Analysts: Application Support Professionals understand the application features to the level of detail to advise and support the business needs. They work with partners to explain what’s required from the staff to implement a new solution and they stay current on application features, after the implementation.
  • Change Manager: A Change Manager will help with the people side of change, using the ADKAR method (Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability and Reinforcement).

ERP Governance

The ERP Governance board assists and advises the Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor/CFO to ensure our ERP environment is strategically organized, coordinated and cost-optimized for the academic, research and administrative goals necessary for the success of CU Boulder.
