Service Restored at 2:20 p.m. on 3/26/2021: OIT email servers have caught up and have delivered all emails sent since the delay began. New emails will be delivered at the normal rate. Thank you for your patience as we worked to resolve this issue.
Please Note: Some emails received today may have been sent over the last 24 hours. We recommend checking the time emails were sent as some email clients will sort messages using the time the message was delivered.

Issue Updated at 1:00 p.m. on 3/26/2021: OIT email servers are beginning to catch up on the high load from the delays over the last 24 hours and email delivery is significantly increasing. We expect this will continue throughout the afternoon. We will post another update when the email delivery rates have returned to normal.

Issue Updated at 10:10 p.m. on 3/25/2021: OIT has implemented a temporary solution to resolve the email delivery delays. Email that has been queued throughout the day will start to be delivered. We will post an update in the morning after the process progresses through the night. Thank you for your patience as we work to resolve this issue.

Issue Updated at 1:00 p.m. on 3/25/2021: SMTP functionality has been restored. However, email delivery is still experiencing delays. OIT continues to troubleshoot this unique problem that arose from this morning's network upgrade (https://oit.colorado.edu/node/26591).
