Microsoft Releases August Updates

Microsoft has released the August updates to their software. Some of these updates address vulnerabilities that may allow an attacker to take control of a system.

The IT Security Office advises owners of the software listed below update as soon as possible.

  • Microsoft Windows
  • Internet Explorer
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Microsoft SharePoint
  • Adobe Flash Player when installed on Microsoft Windows
  • Microsoft SQL Server
